And More Printing

 I'm going to have to stop for a few days as I am heading to NYC for a few days. It's the trip that Covid 19 cancelled in 2020. I am finally visiting my friend, Dan, for a few days.

 But I had to print a few more papers first.

I did some neutrals...

I cut some stencils...

and printed this...

 

and the next morning, while on a walk, I saw this!

Later, I watched Wendy's bonus videos and decided I should try some more subtle papers...

I'll think I'll have plenty of fodder with which to work when I return from the Big Apple and jump into Drew's November Fodder School project.

Collage Square and Some Scrappy Work

I decided to make a collage square for my dad for Father's Day but now I'm worried that it will make him sad.

Third Bird

Finally! We had a day warm enough to work at my bench. It felt great to have my tools in my hands again, and I finished that third bird necklace.

 

Its been an out of sorts kind of day, the first full day without our beloved Paintface. She was euthanized yesterday after a short cat battle with cancer. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of our party girl. 

Not Much to See Here

I have thought about it for months and talked about it for weeks...I finally gessoed over that awful flower painting I did at a drink and paint birthday party a few years ago. (hated to see a stretched canvas go to waste.) Now, I have to summon up some courage to work one of my mixed media images larger...much larger than I'm used to.

 

Oh, and I took a great fish photo at the Toledo Zoo today.

Work on the Necklace and a Couple of Photos

Before I left for Chicago, I continued to work on the necklace. I had a great time with my girl family in the Windy City and took a couple of cool photos. And tonight, as tired as I am feeling, I've gotten really close to finishing the necklace.
