Guestbook Cover Redo

I was given a nondescript wedding-y guestbook and was asked (commanded) to decorate it for my uncle's upcoming surprise birthday party. I have been doing some major procrastinating, but today, I did it. 

 

Repaired Sweater

I was sad to discover a hole in a cashmere sweater splurge...barely worn, but apparently fragile. I finally got around to a repair. Of course, one applique looked like a patch so I scattered a few extra. Now, I can't wait to wear it again. 

Jewelry Repair

I rarely...no, I NEVER do jewelry repairs and  when a friend asked about this watch/bracelet thing, I meant to say no. I offered a suggestion of a chain, and then I was curious. I really wanted to see how it would look. And then,  I did it. And I have to admit, it gave me a sense of satisfaction. I made it wearable again and it is kind of cute.
