And Even More Fodder

Yesterday, I quit mixing colors and I quit attempting to limit my palette.  My papers were all over the place.

I love them! I wish they were my clothes and I could wear them.

Today, after a quick inventory of all of my fodder for this month, I decided I needed more blue.

And I've been consumed with John Lurie's memoir, A History of Bones. I caught this book on some list or another, and honestly, I had never heard of John Lurie. Now, I'm watching his films, and listening to his music, and I have discovered Painting with John on HBO.

Needless to say, I had no choice but to sit quietly and begin to cover a sheet of watercolor paper with squares of color. It is truly one of the most calming things I've ever done.
