Snowflakes and Fodder

I've been busy! I made cards and mailed them throughout the holiday, and I baked cookies from recipes I've never tried before. My friend Judy and I went to the Toledo Museum of Art during The Great Art Escape and cut snowflakes, so our snowflakes will be hanging when paper artist Mary Gaynier installs them in the glass salon. The glass salon at TMA will become a giant snow globe!

Then, it was time for the January Fodder School lessons.

Liz Constable has shown us a glorious technique for creating crispy, grungy fodder! I was a little intimidated,  but I plunged ahead with my iron and got started.

Day 1

And Day 2...this is the most use my iron has had in years!

I can't wait to watch the rest of January instructor Liz Constable's videos.
