August Project: Work in Progress

I have been obsessed. I gessoed my master sheets as instructed, stenciled them, and then aged them with instant coffee. 

Then, I watched the next video, and tore them into pages. 

Clean up included scrubbing my stencils and blotting my sponges onto sheets of drawing paper, and using the leftover blobs of paint from stenciling to "dye" scraps of lace.

So I ended up with some cool fodder to stash and some beautiful colored lace to add to my book.

And I was so happy with that tray I decorated  last year, and added some finishing touches to recently, I decided to do a couple more. Today seemed like a good day to get started by painting them.
