Zentangling

 First off...Happy New Year!

I had some things I wanted to do today in the garage...earrings and bells, but it's rainy and cold. Great day to stay in the house. And since I had some supplies,  and a new book from a friend, I thought I'd Zentangle.

I know, I've always thought Zentangle was some made up word for doodling, which I'm pretty good at, but I received a book, One Zentangle a Day by Beckah Kahula, as a gift from a dear friend. And She's going to Zentangle a Day so I thought I'd join her. 

We can have virtual Show and Tells!

So I did Day 1 today. I followed the instructions and I really enjoyed it...I think I kind of got into the rule following as much as the doodling. (I know, doodle rules?) And I am loving my fresh Zentangle sketchbook and my completed Day 1 tile.
