Having difficulty with commitment, I was really patting myself on the back for actually finishing and mailing my tinypricks project. Granted it wasn't my best work, I sent it on anyway, as I did not want to procrastinate away my chance to participate.
So being on a commitment roll, I signed up to make a birdhouse for a fundraiser for Nature's Nursery. Building a cool birdhouse sounded fun, making the commitment would be good for me, and Nature's Nursery is an incredible organization.
I am beginning my work for The Battle of The Birdhouses. I;ve decided to stick with my spare parts aesthetic.
I put a couple of coats of paint on my house. I have plans for the painting after this.
Then, I got wildly anxious about the parts and told myself that I wouldn't think about it until I had the birdhouse painted completely...again, I do have a plan. But I couldn't help myself and went out to the garage to root around for parts that I've always loved but were too large for jewelry. I did some sorting, drilling, and assembling and the angst has subsided.
