Mother's Day Earrings

It is a beautiful Sunday, but I had to drag myself out to the bench (in my pajamas) to make some earrings. This is my first Mother's Day without my  mother and I am trying not to be too pitiful. 

I can almost hear her now, if I showed her these earrings. "They're nice...if you like that kind of stuff."
