I've been looking at the canvas for weeks... had a background down but afraid to really get started. Too big, too....precious? Okay, it's a stretched canvas, a gessoed over, more than likely the cheapest available stretched canvas. Just start pasting and splashing. So I did. I'm having fun already, and I only put on a "floor" and some rules so far.
On a side note, I don't know why it never occurred to me to use an eyedropper before...I had to read that suggestion in a book....Paint Mojo. Fabulous book! And I haven't read past the supply list with "eyedropper" yet. This proves that books are never a waste of money even if one thinks they already know EVERYTHING.
