First Time for a Cooking Entry

After I passed the 365 day mark, I had a conversation with my friend, L. about the next 365 days. We thought maybe I could count cooking but only if I was making something new...a recipe I'd never tried before. (This was an option, along with my 10 days off plan.)  Today, I made a White Bean and Asparagus salad with tarragon lemon dressing!  I even bought most of my ingredients at the Toledo Farmers Market.  I know it looks simple but it tastes lovely and I took a decent picture of it,  so I am going to attempt to count it as my "make something".

I also bought my dad a gift for Father's Day and covered it in Valentino Rossi decals, making it into an official VR46 lobby broom (long story). Maybe I should count that, too.

Okay, now I am going to see if I can do this without running out to the garage and making a quick pair of earrings or something.
